Sea freight — containers and LCL shipments
We arrange full container load (FCL) and less than container load (LCL) shipments. We also handle oversized and temperature-controlled cargo.
Delivery coordination from shipper to consignee
The scope of the order can include collection, sea freight and delivery to the consignee. On request, we can also arrange warehousing, repacking and customs formalities.
THE RIGHT CONTAINER FOR YOUR CARGO
Types of sea freight containers
We arrange shipments using standard and specialist containers. Their main applications are outlined below.
Dry container
Standard 20′ and 40′ containers
Dry goods, cartons and palletised cargo that do not require temperature control. A standard option for many commercial shipments.
High cube
Additional cargo space
Bulky goods and taller loads. The container’s extra height helps make better use of space when transporting lightweight, high-volume products.
Reefer
Temperature control
Temperature-sensitive goods, including food and pharmaceuticals. Container selection takes into account the required temperature and shipment handling conditions.
Open top
Loading from above
Cargo requiring crane loading or exceeding standard container height. The open top facilitates the handling of machinery and tall components.
Flat rack
Oversized cargo
Machinery, structures and components extending beyond the dimensions of a standard container. The open design facilitates the loading of oversized cargo.
